Impact of Floods in Pakistan: Homelessness, Education, and Recovery

Floods in Pakistan have created terrible conditions, leaving thousands of families in Punjab and Sindh without homes. Many people lost their houses, children, and loved ones, and the disaster has pushed them into depression and fear. The government must think ahead about how to support these victims, especially those who have nowhere to live.

Environment of Pakistan

At the same time, Pakistan must protect its environment by stopping deforestation. Cutting down trees makes floods and related dangers even worse. Planting more trees can help absorb rainwater and reduce the damage caused by the heavy monsoon rains. Unfortunately Pakistan still does not have a proper system to manage seasonal rainwater, nor a safe way to divert river overflow before it enters the cities.

International

International governments have sent funds for flood relief and some families received help. But more support is still required to rebuild houses, schools, and livelihoods that were destroyed. Pakistan also needs to control corruption, because misuse of relief funds harms the victims even more.

Nature

Corruption is not just a social problem—it can also bring Allah’s punishment. Islam teaches that while Allah may forgive His own rights (Huqooq Allah), He does not forgive the rights of people (Huqooq-ul-Ibad) unless those wronged forgive themselves. We must seek forgiveness do good deeds and pray sincerely for Pakistan.

Education system

Education has also been badly affected. Many schools, colleges, and universities in Punjab and Sindh remained closed for months because of the floods, and thousands of students lost their precious time.Floods also increase the risk of diseases such as dengue and diarrhea, especially where drainage and sewage systems are blocked. Many people in rural areas could not even reach hospitals because the roads were damaged.

financial losses

The floods did not only cause financial losses, but also mental trauma. Many victims fell into depression and constant fear.In cities, poor drainage left dirty water standing in streets, spreading disease.Even business and trade came to a halt, leaving families without income and forcing them into poverty.

Humanity

In this situation, it is not only the government’s duty but also the responsibility of the people to support each other.Everyone must share the burden and help their neighbors.Only through unity, honesty, and faith can Pakistan recover from this crisis and protect itself from future disasters.

The Battle of the Trench (Ghazwa-e-Khandaq) – Islamic History in Simple English

The Battle of the Trench (Khandaq) — Simple English  After the defeat at Uhud, Abu Sufyan gathered a huge army from all over Arabia. The confederate force is estimated in the sources to have been about 10,000 men, prepared to attack Medina. This large army worried the Muslims because Medina’s population was much smaller.  When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) learned of this, he called a meeting. Everyone knew a direct fight in the open was dangerous. In that meeting, Salman al-Farsi (Salman the Persian) advised digging a deep trench on the exposed side of Medina. He explained that Medina is protected on three sides by hills, so if the Muslims dug a trench on the only open side, the enemy cavalry could be blocked and the town would be better defended. The Prophet accepted Salman’s plan.  The work began at once. The whole community took part: men, and others who could help. Sections of the trench were assigned to groups; the Prophet himself worked alongsid...

The Battle of Badr – First Victory of Islam

Battle of Badr – Story in Simple English Abu Sufyan was coming from Syria with a caravan carrying 50,000 gold coins and all kinds of goods, going towards Makkah. But there was one big problem: to reach Makkah, the caravan had to pass near Madinah, and Muslims were already waiting there. Abu Sufyan thought, “If I go this way, Muslims will surely attack us.” This was in the month of Ramadan. One year before the Battle of Badr, when Muslims migrated from Makkah to Madinah, they left with nothing except the clothes they were wearing. The Quraysh of Makkah sold their houses, lands, and everything they owned to make them angry. The goods in Abu Sufyan’s caravan were actually the same wealth taken from Muslims. So Muslims were not looting someone else — they were taking back what had been looted from them. Abu Sufyan, the head of the caravan, was very worried. He changed the route to avoid Muslims and sent a messenger to Makkah asking for urgent help. When that man reached Makkah, he...
