Quetta — The Beautiful Capital Surrounded by Mountains.

Quetta is the capital of Balochistan and the largest city of the province, surrounded by mountains and full of natural resources. Quetta is a very beautiful and charming city, but there are some issues which have not yet reached the Government of Balochistan and the Government of Pakistan, so that they could find solutions for us.

Education Situation in Quetta and Students’ Problems.

Quetta is the only city in Balochistan where people from many other cities come to study. The education system here is to some extent better, but still many students do not get complete education.

Difference in Curriculum and Standards

If you check Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, their educational schedule is far ahead of us. For example, the books that are taught in 8th grade in Balochistan are already taught in 4th or 5th grade in other provinces. This creates a big gap and students of Balochistan are left behind.

Lack of Educational Institutions

Quetta is a big and beautiful city, but there is a shortage of universities, colleges, and schools. Almost in every street you will find a private school, but government schools are very rare. Poor students cannot afford private school fees, so there is a strong need for more government schools, colleges, and universities. Without them, no student can gain proper education.

Corruption and Student Issues

Many students also face corruption issues. Some students even become part of corruption, and because of this, honest and hardworking students cannot get equal opportunities.

What is Needed?

The Government of Balochistan must give serious attention to education.

The number of government schools, colleges, and universities should be increased.

Curriculum should be brought at the same level as other provinces so students can compete nationally.

Corruption in the education system must be eliminated.

The Battle of the Trench (Ghazwa-e-Khandaq) – Islamic History in Simple English

The Battle of the Trench (Khandaq) — Simple English  After the defeat at Uhud, Abu Sufyan gathered a huge army from all over Arabia. The confederate force is estimated in the sources to have been about 10,000 men, prepared to attack Medina. This large army worried the Muslims because Medina’s population was much smaller.  When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) learned of this, he called a meeting. Everyone knew a direct fight in the open was dangerous. In that meeting, Salman al-Farsi (Salman the Persian) advised digging a deep trench on the exposed side of Medina. He explained that Medina is protected on three sides by hills, so if the Muslims dug a trench on the only open side, the enemy cavalry could be blocked and the town would be better defended. The Prophet accepted Salman’s plan.  The work began at once. The whole community took part: men, and others who could help. Sections of the trench were assigned to groups; the Prophet himself worked alongsid...

The Battle of Badr – First Victory of Islam

Battle of Badr – Story in Simple English Abu Sufyan was coming from Syria with a caravan carrying 50,000 gold coins and all kinds of goods, going towards Makkah. But there was one big problem: to reach Makkah, the caravan had to pass near Madinah, and Muslims were already waiting there. Abu Sufyan thought, “If I go this way, Muslims will surely attack us.” This was in the month of Ramadan. One year before the Battle of Badr, when Muslims migrated from Makkah to Madinah, they left with nothing except the clothes they were wearing. The Quraysh of Makkah sold their houses, lands, and everything they owned to make them angry. The goods in Abu Sufyan’s caravan were actually the same wealth taken from Muslims. So Muslims were not looting someone else — they were taking back what had been looted from them. Abu Sufyan, the head of the caravan, was very worried. He changed the route to avoid Muslims and sent a messenger to Makkah asking for urgent help. When that man reached Makkah, he...
